It's Okay To Be Gay.

Now Days Sexuality Is So Mainstream It's On T.v. On The Radio And Which Ever Way You Can See. But In A Way Still Homosexuality Isn't Accepted By Many, But With It Being So Expose Now Children Are Starting To Ask Question. With People Always Beating Down Others Because Of What They Like, Parents Need To Start Explaining Whats Going On. And Also With The Government Trying To Stop A Man And Man Or A Women Or And Woman From Getting Married I Fell Like As A Whole We Need More Explaining As To Why You Want To Stop People From Fighting For Our Country Or From Them Marrying Each Other. And A Few Question I've Heard Are

*Is Being Gay A Choice?
*Can Two Women Have Babies
*Can Two Men Get Married?

And To Me Being Gay Is A Choice In Some Ways And Other There Isn't Much Of A Choice When Your Rape Or Molested As A Young Child. And I Believe A Gay Couple Should Be Able To Adpot A Child Just Because There Are So Many Kids Out There That Needs Help And Can Learn From Having Two Parents Of The Same Sex. Also I Believe Hetro Parents Shouldn't Be So Closed Minded When It Comes To Helping There Kids Understand It.

JAPAN NEEDS OUR HELP!

I am sure most of you have heard about the Earthquake with an 8.9 magnitude in North-East Japan, that resulted in a tsunami. Most of North East Japan is...well, demolished. There's 600+ people who have lost their lives. Many more will have been injured, too. Nuclear power-plants have exploded, but so far, there's been no serious damage from radiation. The Japanese PM declared a National State of Emergency yesterday, and many countries have already offered a helping hand with aid and rescue teams.

I guess I just want to say next time you whine because you don't have the phone you wanted, or that luxurious handbags, just think of everyone affected by the Earthquake and Tsunami. They've lost their houses, their jobs, their lives. The tsunami is still building-it's hit Hawaii, but it's getting stronger by the second. It's predicted to be as high as Pacific Islands.

my heart broke when I saw the images on World News Today yesterday and today. Yesterday, as i was going to sleep world news always talks about their main headline. It talked about the Earthquake, and I just sat there, speechless.

I mean, it's not as though they knew. Most the people that died were probably thinking about plans that they had made...plans that will never happen.

I think to me, this was a BIG wake up call. I have so much, and although I try not to take it for granted...I am still human. But what annoyed me is that people were laughing about it. How can you laugh at the fact that hundreds have lost lives, and many more will?

All my condolences go out to everyone affected by the Earthquake and/or Tsunami.

And when you sit there complaining...don't. Think about what you have, not what you don't.The thing is, I don't think this will generate sympathy as much as the Haiti ordeal, simply because Japan has money. I know it's wrong for me to say that, but I think in a way, it's true.

Also, we won't even care after a month or two. I mean, look at the NZ EQ that struck Christchurch. That's already out of the news. We forget about natural disasters so quickly-but the thing is, it's scarred their lives forever. They need help, and I have to say, I myself am ashamed of the fact that I've forgotten about the natural disasters that have happened previously. Haiti's still a mess, Pakistan's people are helpless after the floods, and NZ people are still in need of help. I wonder how long it'll be until we stop thinking about the Japan EQ and Tsunami.

Sending condolences to everyone affected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. No-one deserves this, no matter what they've done. The pictures are extremely moving. The tsunami continues. The death toll rises. The aftershocks are on their way. The mourning is just beginning.

But help is on the way.

Stay strong, Japan. Keep faith. Help is coming.

Bristol Palin book deal?

       Ok so Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, has signed with William Morrow to publish a book. Her book, "Not Afraid of Life", is due to come out sometime this summer. Palin says that this book will focus on her life as a mother and provide detail about her time on "Dancing With the Stars." This frustrates me because every time I turn around those Palin's are always up to something. What I don't understand is how people can even deal with them. First off, Sarah Palin, can't stand her!! Apparently there have been rumors that she will run for president in the next election. All I can say is God help us now. So not as if she isn't a problem now Bristol wants to be part of the spot light. HELLO you had your time on "Dancing With the Stars" and believe me she had more time than needed. So why is she now trying to publish a book? Like seriously can she even read? I honestly can't wait for this book to come out just to see what is going to happen. And I swear if this book becomes a bestseller I am just going to lose my mind.

Officer injured while trying to confront a shoplifter

        Just before 9pm last night, police officers were called to Target on Bustleton ave where there was a man suspected of shoplifting. Once the suspect saw the officers he ran and about two blocks later two officers confronted the suspect. Somehow, the officers say that the suspect grabbed a weapon and hit one officer across the head. This officer ultimately suffered a serious eye injury and was carried on a stretcher to Einstein Medical Center. It was then other officers arrived to help and after tasering the suspect twice they were able to control the man. It is incidents like this that make people understand why police react the way they do in situations. Not only was this man out of line for assaulting an officer but you did it because you stole from TARGET. People are so stupid, like seriously this man is now in jail because he chose to steal from target. If anything, people need to relaize that if you must steal make sure it is from a high priced store not no Target or Walmart. I swear I don't understand what goes on in people mind's sometimes. I hope this is a lesson to us all.

Two and a half men star Charlie Sheen

 Actor Charlie Sheen has completely lost it. Earlier this week in his interview with Good Morning America he discussed numerous of issues in his life. Admitting to NOT being bipolar, I think that he is a bold faced liar.  Two and a half men happened to be one of my favorite shows and just like others, I wasn't too happy to hear it had gotten suspended. Thanks to Mr. Sheen and his antics, once again people are fed up with him and his behavior.

 

Pizza shop owner puts mice in competitor's restuarants.

         Nick Galiatsatos, owner of Bella  Pizzeria was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, harassment, and cruelty to animals. Last week this man decided to sabotage two of his rival pizza shops with mice. Though the owner admits to suffering from some personal issues it doesn't not excuse his actions. One of the owners from the other shops says that Galiatsatos went over the line. He says that this man walked into his shop, created some small talk and before leaving dropped a bag inside his trash can. The owner admits that something seemed weird so he decided to check the trash out and thats when he saw the mice. Just a few minutes before, Galiatsatos went to another pizzeria where he asked to use the restroom. This time, the owner says that heard alot of banging and after checking the bathroom he saw footprints on the toilet seat. Deciding to check out the problem the owner opened the drop ceiling and saw the bag of mice. The owner then says he alerted the two officers in his restuarant about what had just taken place. It was then the officers caught Galiatsatos and placed him under arrest.
          Just when you think there couldn't possibly be anything else for people to do, they prove you wrong. Clearly this man has some type of mental illness or something because what possess someone to do something like that. I really hope this man gets the help that he needs because he is seriously certifiable.

Gas prices rising

       As if $3 and some change isn't already too much for a gallon of gas, prices are still continuing to rise. According to reports, today the average price for a gallon of regular gas in the city is about $3.37 whereas last year this time, gas in the city was about $2.73. Almost a dollar jump gas is becoming too expensive. And  if you are like me and your car burns a lot of gas then you are as annoyed as I am. This gas thing is becoming utterly ridiculous and I can't take anymore of it. I am so fed up that I think I am going to buy a trans pass and start riding public transportation. Unfortunately, there are people who rely on their cars on a daily basis so there isn't really anything they can do about this situation. Hopefully this is the last time prices jump for a while because if not then I don't think I will be driving anywhere for a long long time.

T.G.I Friday's

OK so last night my girlfriends and I decided to go to T.G.I Fridays the one down City Line Ave. Not only was the restaurant nearly packed to capacity but the service was semi good. All in all we tried to enjoy ourselves. So after we finished our desserts and the check came the bill was excessively too high. Not paying too much attention and avoiding causing a scene we paid for our food and left the restaurant. It was not until we got to my friend's house that we realized our waiter took $80.00 off of my friend's credit card. My friend, pissed off decided to go back and see what was the problem. To our surprise, our waiter added $10.00 extra to our bill, put in the computer that we only gave him $90.00 in cash when we gave him $130.00, and added a extra fee to the service charge. Shocked at what happened, the mangers gave my friend all of her money back and voided our check. The thing that pissed me off was the fact that this guy went completely out of his way to steal money from us. What made the situation worse was the fact that even with his $26.00 tip added to our bill, we were still going to give him a tip. I don't understand why people try to get over on others but it is sad and pathetic. I hope that loser gets fired so that he does not pull this scheme on other innocent people.
