7 teens arrested for bullying

         Earlier this week 7 teenagers were arrested for bullying and beating another teenage boy. The teens appeared in court and were charged with felonies of aggravated assault and kidnapping. All of the defendants are in a Juvenile Detention Center where they are seeking psychological evaluations. Officials said that the young teen was beaten by the others then left hanging from a fence by his clothing. Ashamed of what happened, the teen's mother took him out of his school and decided to apply for home schooling. A couple of days after the incident the 13 yr old victim and his mother appeared on The View,and The Oprah Show where they spoke about the teens, events that took place and the young boy's reaction.

         I think that those 7 teens who bullied this boy deserves everything coming to them. What I don't understand is how these teen's family members and friends can stand up for them. I admit family should be supportive but how do you expect these kids to learn their lesson, if others are encouraging their behaviors. I am really happy to hear that these teens will be charged with felonies and could possibly be convicted. Its a shame that it has to result to this but I think with all the bullying happening in the world it is time to show teens how serious this can be.
